The Karangahape Road Street Festival is an annual event held around Matariki, transforming Auckland’s iconic K’ Road into a vibrant space of music, art, and community.
As part of the production team, I helped plan and coordinate the 2021 festival in partnership with the Karangahape Road Business Association, local shop owners, and artists. Together we designed activations that filled the street with performance, colour, and energy.

The festival celebrated the spirit of Matariki by bringing together diverse communities and showcasing local creativity. It was both a cultural celebration and a reminder of the strength that comes from collaboration between businesses, artists, and neighbourhoods.
